The ECIA wishes to introduce John Clark as the new Operations Director.
John started his engineering career in the Royal Navy working in conflict resolution. After almost 20 years he changed career and entered the world of HR, quickly developing a passion for Employee Relations. The management of employment law and the union interaction in the Charity, Contracting, Retail and Construction sectors, helped him to gain experience in finding solutions for a wide range of industrial issues. Working on major project sites and maintenance contracts with multiple stakeholders and unions has led him to see the importance of well-structured and effective construction associations and their working rule agreements.
John explains: “The ECIA is a fully established association that provides certainties for employers and employees through strongly developed communications forums. In joining the ECIA I look forward to working with our members to further develop and advance the working agreement, delivering well-positioned and sustainable outcomes which will further enhance the aims and objectives of the association and its membership.”
